Warning: This Issue will take a LONG time to load. Why not grab a beer or a coke? -- Kev

Lost and wandering through the Nether Realms, Kevin, Joe and Kirby find a huge Red-cap festival in progress. The celebration seems to center around a tied-up sacrificial victim.

As Kevin and Kirby kick some Nasty butt, Joe speeds to the victim's rescue. Shortly after sending the red-caps fleeing, the trio uncovers the Red-caps captive only to find the ubiquitous Wally Ut.

Once again, as the cantankerous would-be-Mage joins the avatars, the Pale Incanters mystical tracking of Matchstick and his companions is obscured. In frustration he shatters his scrying crystal.

Meanwhile, Kevin and Wally fall swiftly into argument.

Against Kevin's desires, the avatars follow Wally Ut's lead through the Nether Realms. Along the way Kirby asks the Pendragon about Magda. As Kevin begins to get starry-eyed over her, Kirby smacks him to his senses...with maybe just a little too much force. ani.gif (1124 bytes)

After a swim, Kirby and Joe begin to question Kevin's skepticism about Wally's claim to be a Mage. After all, like the Heroes themselve, the old man survived a plummet that no average mortal could have survived. Kevin replies that Wally isn't nearly "Green enough" to be a Mage. After all, Green is the color of Magic.

Kirby and Joe both seem surprised at this claim.

Each having their own experience with the color of Magic (Red and Blue, respectively).

Of course, when asked, Wally claims the color Purple is more to his liking.

Kevin is less than thrilled with difference in opinions about something he considers fairly absolute. Rather as if someone just told him that Gravity doesn't apply to everyone. As he insists on moving forward, Wally catches sight of a water-wight. A portent of disaster which usually fortells an impending death. Again, Kevin is less than impressed with Wally's claims and leads the band onward to a doorway he found while the others were swimming.

Passing into a cavern strewn with skulls and bones, the four-some encounter The Pale Incanter's fully animated creature!
